ITMA ASIA + CITME 2026 brings together more than 1,800 exhibitors under one roof at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Shanghai. Seven halls stretch across 180,000 square metres, covering everything from spinning and weaving to digital platforms and textile-reinforced composites. The show draws professionals from across the textile and garment machinery world, and the 2024 edition welcomed more than 90,000 visitors.
The range on show is wide: man-made fibres, knitting, nonwovens, embroidery, braiding, dyeing and finishing, recycling, testing, packaging, automation — five days is a lot to cover and easy to lose track of. Whether you are sourcing one machine or mapping out a full production upgrade, the sheer scale means preparation matters as much as presence.
Practical tip: before you step into the first hall, decide which technology segments matter most to you and walk those first. Leave finishing and garment halls for the days when your energy is lower — they tend to need less back-and-forth technical discussion.
